Here are some books that Catholic moms may wish to read and acquire for their personal libraries?

Here is a list of recommended ones - Consider purchasing them for your in-home library:

1) "The Catechism of the Catholic Church": This is available at any Catholic bookstore and comes in hardback, soft cover, and even a small paperback version (my personal favorite!) No Catholic home should be without it!

2) "The Apostolate of Holy Motherhood" - I have not yet met a mother who has read this book and was not deeply spiritually moved by it. Most Catholic bookstores carry it. If you have not read it yet, get it. It will change your life and the way you view being a mother.

3) "The Catholic Mother's Resource Guide" - by Maria Compton-Hernandez. This is the book from which all of the ideas from this website are taken. 4) "Catholic Answers for Catholic Parents" - Fantastic book on apologetics for parents involving all issue of Catholic life - a MUST HAVE! Press here!

5) "Rome Sweet Home" - by Scott and Kimberly Hahn. This is a wonderful account of how this very strong Protestant couple became converts to our Faith. It is a great "defend your faith" kind of book. It is available in most Catholic bookstores.
6) "Catholic Parents Internet Guide" by Maria Compton-Hernandez. This new release from St. Andrew’s Productions is the must have guide book for any Catholic parent who owns a computer. 7) "Dear Marian Movement - Let God Be God!" by the late William Reck. Great book to help get a handle on the many Marian Apparitions occuring in our world today. Includes a wonderful set of guidelines for determining the authenticity of an alleged apparition. Available for a $6 donation from the Riehle Foundation.
8) "You Can Become a Saint!" by Mary Ann Budnik: A wonderful book which has terrific ideas and meditations to teach you how to live out your vocation in life with God's graces. Truly life-changing and very motivational! Go here to order online.
9) "The Catholic Encyclopedia" By Our Sunday Visitor. What a great resource! Every home should have one. You can order it direction from them.
10) "My Daily Bread" by the Confraternity of the Precious Blood. This amazing little book is a life-changer! It has daily meditations which are so amazing to read – you’ll be touched each time you pick it up. It’s available in most Catholic bookstores.
